I’m Matt. I make pictures in California for brands, studios, and publications worldwide. Stills or motion, I bring every production two things: a discerning eye and merciless dad jokes.

If my work is known for anything, it’s a particularly “clean” look. There’s no secret sauce, I’m just a clean freak by nature. Refinement is a big part of my process, leaving only what is essential to the story.

I believe the biggest statements are best said quietly, so often I take a less-is-louder approach.

I’m a sucker for good branding and design. I buy products with the coolest packaging and unapologetically judge books by their covers. In my next life, I’ll be a psychologist. I like clean sneakers, dirty mountain bikes, and cheap diner coffee.

I live and play in Topanga Canyon with my fiancé, Ali, and our pup.
